A. The Farmer Music Center is a brand-new, state-of-the-art, $160 million outdoor music and entertainment venue currently under construction adjacent to Riverbend Music Center. Once complete this music venue will be the new home of summer concerts in Cincinnati.

Q. Why is it called The Farmer Music Center?

The venue is named in recognition of a transformational $60 million gift from the Farmer Family Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic investments in Cincinnati arts and culture history.

Q. Why is The Farmer Music Center being built?

The Farmer Music Center was designed to meet the expectations of today's concertgoers and touring artists while ensuring Cincinnati remains competitive in attracting major tours and live entertainment events.

Q. Will The Farmer Music Center replace Riverbend Music Center?
A.
The Farmer Music Center will become Cincinnati's primary outdoor summer concert venue. Riverbend Music Center will remain and be preserved for special events and future programming opportunities

The venue is expected to open in Spring 2027.

Q. What impact will The Farmer Music Center have on the Cincinnati region?

The Farmer Music Center is a major economic engine, projected to generate over $100 million in annual economic impact, including: 

  • $7 million in state tax revenue over 10 years 
  • $15 million in new city tax revenue over 10 years 
  • 30% more live events and 150,000 additional attendees annually 
  • 1,000 construction jobs created from start to finish of the project

Q. Will the venue host events year-round?

The Farmer Music Center is an open-air venue and will operate in the warmer months, typically May through October.

Q. What is the capacity of The Farmer Music Center?
A.
The Farmer Music Center will have a capacity of up to 20,000 guests, including 8,000 reserved, under-cover, seats, and a 12,000-capacity general admission synthetic lawn.

The venue features an innovative three-level, vertical design that enhances sightlines, acoustics, and overall guest comfort. Purposefully designed to exceed the expectations of today’s concertgoers while meeting the evolving needs of touring artists. Q. What food and beverage options will be available?

The Farmer Music Center will feature elevated food and beverage offerings throughout the venue, including 25+ full-service bars and concession locations across three levels, as well as convenient grab-and-go kiosks designed to minimize wait times.

Q. Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities? 
A. Yes. The Farmer Music Center is fully ADA-compliant, with accessible seating, ramps, and elevators to all three levels.

Q. Will the current parking and traffic patterns change? 
A. The Farmer Music Center is designed for smooth arrivals and departures, with strategically placed parking, optimized entry/exit routes, as well as convenient ride-share location.

Q. Will The Farmer Music Center Flood?
A.
No. The Farmer Music Center is being built on higher ground above the flood plain and is designed to avoid flooding challenges associated with lower-lying areas.

QWhat is the future of Riverbend Music Center? 
A.  Riverbend Music Center, together with PNC Pavilion and The Farmer Music Center will create a unique entertainment campus capable of hosting a wide variety of concerts, festivals, and community events.

Q. Will PNC Pavilion go away?
A.
No, PNC Pavilion is a boutique amphitheater that will continue to host shows up to 4,200 capacity during the summer months. Click HERE for a list of current shows this season.

Q. Why is The Farmer Music Center honoring Marian and Donald Spencer?
A.
 The Farmer Music Center is proud to honor the legacy of Marian and Donald Spencer, whose leadership and advocacy for Civil Rights helped shape Cincinnati.  A special monument located on the venue campus will recognize their contributions to civil rights, education, and desegregation. The tribute serves as a lasting reminder of their impact on the region and the importance of preserving the site's history.
